"I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again. (Goodreads)
I feel like I must be missing something... The majority of people I know who have read this book absolutely loved it, unfortunately I am not one of those people.

There were parts of this book that I enjoyed, like Noah and Echo's back stories. I really enjoyed finding out piece by piece what happened to Echo and the things that her mother had done to her. As well as about Noah's family. However, I hated the romance in this book, it just wasn't for me at all. Pet names make me cringe and every time Noah called Echo "Baby" I disliked the book more and more. I also hated how he kept calling her a nymph and a siren. I don't know what it was about their relationship but it really put me off and unfortunately that was the main focus of the book.

I wasn't a huge fan of any of the characters, except for Miss Collins and Layla, they were by far my favourites! I liked Echo on her own, but not with Noah, for some reason Noah just seemed greasy to me. I don't even know what I would have done if I were ever in Echo's position, her story was really interesting, I loved that aspect of the book!

So I overall didn't enjoy this book. I'm not sure if I will be continuing on with the series. I know all of the books follow different characters, but I just don't think I am a fan of the writing style in general.

I have come to realize that I prefer my love stories cute and romantic as opposed to passionate, which is exactly what this was.

I would still say to give this book a try as I know many people did really enjoy it! It just wasn't for me! :)

every time noah called echo baby....

This book just wasn't that great.....
